Your privacy

We collect personal information from one place only: the forms on this site. This page sets out what we do with it. It follows the Privacy Act 2020, which is the New Zealand law that applies to us.

What we collect

Whatever you type into an enquiry or site-visit form: your name, email address, phone number, which kind of buyer you are, when a visit would suit, anything you write in the message field, and the section you were looking at if you came from the masterplan.

Every field is one you filled in yourself. We don’t buy lists, and we don’t build a profile of you from anywhere else.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and to arrange a visit to the site. If you ask about a particular section, we use the details to answer that question properly. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t pass it to other marketers.

Who else handles it

Two suppliers process information for us, on our instructions: HubSpot, which stores enquiries so we can keep track of them and reply, and Vercel, which hosts this website. Both store data on servers outside New Zealand.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries indefinitely, because a conversation about land can pick up again years after it started. If you’d rather we didn’t, ask us and we’ll delete your details.

Seeing, correcting or deleting it

Under the Privacy Act you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it’s wrong. You can also ask us to delete it. Email contact@parkview.estate and we’ll come back to you within 20 working days, which is the limit the Act sets.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this page before it does, and you’ll be asked first.

If something’s wrong

Tell us first — email contact@parkview.estate. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
